Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Cases
HIV case management is offered to anyone diagnosed with HIV infection or acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). Services, offered free of charge, include, but are not limited to:
- Chronic illness management, education, and emotional support
- Individualized plan of care
- Medical referral and monitoring
- Referral for spiritual and mental health
- Access to HIV medications
- Insurance premium assistance
- HIV related co-pay assistance for ambulatory care
Funds are available through the Ryan White federally funded program and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to assist with medications, housing, utilities insurance premiums, and medical copays. The extent of assistance available is dependent on specific income guidelines.
