The JRP is an 22,000 square foot facility for citizens over the age of 50 to work out, socialize, and participate in a variety of programs and activities. The JRP includes a fitness center, circuit room snooker, billiards, and pool tables, table shuffleboard, table tennis, library with computers, cafeteria, and rooms of various sizes to meet almost any kind of activity. Approximately 55 groups and organizations meet either daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly. 

St. Joseph residency is not required to enjoy use of the center. A membership is not required to participate in activities at the JRP, but is required to use the fitness center and circuit training room.  

Parking and access to the center is convenient to users with parking below the building and street-side. An elevator is located in the building for easy access from the lower level parking area to the lobby of the JRP.

Pinnacle award winners are recognized community centers whose achievements, innovations, directions or commitments in the field of wellness stand out as guiding lights for all community centers.

Dance Schedule:

  • Visit the JRP on the first Saturday of the month to dance to live music by the Midnight Country Band, 7:00 pm.
  • Join the Dancing Clark's Mega Tunes to swing your way into an evening of fun the second Saturday of the month, 7:30 pm.

Effective on January 1, 2021, all city facilities and departments will charge a convenience fee of 3% for all debit and credit card transactions online and in-person.
